I am an intuitive artist living on the coast at Woody Pt, just north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

I love to work with acrylic paints, acrylic inks and other mixed media tools. I work through many layers on my surfaces, laying down color, adding marks, texture, words, images, continuing until the surface “speaks”, telling me what wants to appear on the final layers. My works have a huge emphasis on color and marks as I feel these effect our emotions, decisions, reactions and memories.

Over the past 10 years I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to Thailand, China, Bali, USA, Paris, India and recently Cambodia. The influence of these cultures, especially Asia and India, their artworks, patterns, spirituality and the people themselves have lead to the works I now produce. I try to evoke the essence of these places into my artworks. I really enjoy looking at the world, the beauty that constantly surrounds us in everyday life and hopefully you will feel that within my art.
