Miss Vicky Collection
Born and raised in Southern California, she has lived in Alaska, Northern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Now living in California’s “Gold County” in the small historic mining town of Dutch Flat, Miss Vicky spends her days getting her hands into every creative thing possible. Possessing the rare talent of being able to use both her brain’s left and right sides, she started her business career as a CPA and tax preparer. After many different business ventures, in 1991 the urge to travel took her onto another path of life. Over the course of the next fifteen years, the ebullient and talented Miss Vicky travelled to forty different states and seven different countries, teaching and sharing her creativity to all who wanted to learn. As her reputation and popularity grew she became a frequent guest on crafting segments for HGTV, Aleenes Crafts, QVC, and HSN. She was featured on the cover of many crafting magazines and also served as contributing editor to numerous publications. Readers Digest featured her and distributed their own set of her items to schools across the USA. Now after a busy lifetime of running a creative company and operating retail stores, Miss Vicky has “retired” and enjoys doing her art without deadlines or pressures to perform, just pure desire and pleasure.
