My husband and I were out for a drive in Southern AZ and came upon these longhorns in a field, close to the road. I jumped out of the car and went up to the gate to try to take some pictures of them. To my amazement, they came over to the gate and some actually licked my hand! I was able to get some nice close ups and the experience and the resulting images were the highlight of the day. I have very fond memories of those sweet cows. [While they are probably really the 'Texas Longhorn' breed, I named them AZ Longhorn as that's where they lived...similarly how we usually refer to ourselves or others by the state in which we/they reside.]
