Eastern Washington hosts some of the most incredible sunsets known to man. I've been around a fair amount and have never seen the display we get...many times because of the amazing cloud formations that invite the sun to create many evening masterpieces. This was taken outside my back door looking across a hay field. There are some farming structures in the image that lend scale to the image and the 'big sky'. While the color of the sunset was beautiful, I chose to do this in B/W. The cloud structure and scale is what caught my eye and B/W allowed those to remain the subject.
