I was on a walkabout in Santa Fe when I passed by some hotel steps. I was immediately struck by the patterns of the shadows from the trees on the steps. The steps become almost camouflaged by the shadows and yet are still there if you look. I loved the concrete lines of the steps juxtaposed with the indistinct and organic shapes of the tree shadows. It felt a bit kaleidoscope-ish and like I was in a dream.
