This is a mixed media piece using acrylic, ink, and collage. The artist is Algonquin and the Raven, in indigenous folk lore symbolizes change and transformation. Tracy was inspired to paint this subject when her close friend passed away this year. She was a painting partner and a dear friend. The artist felt the need to work out her anger and sadness, and to recognize as well that she is now free of pain and is probably enjoying her free time painting with Bob Ross.
